TF7 thought about what a tourist may need when visiting a different city. They invented prototypes and presented their inventions.’
On May 27th 2016, Year 5 visited the National Portrait Gallery to study portraits. They used this experience to create portraits during Art week.
TF7 did an assembly linked to the IPC unit Myths and Legends. The assembly included a role play, a song that told a story and presentations of children’s work. Well done TF7.
On 22nd April 2016, children from Salisbury attended the Newham Speech Making Competition. A huge well done to Halim and Aalisha for taking part in the competition and thank you to their supporters from Year 4 and 5. The speech makers’ dedication and commitment ensured their speeches were fantastic on the day.
A group of Year 5 children from TF6 and TF7, Tasneen, Gerald, Sabaahat, Bhanuka and Maryan represented Salisbury Primary School at the Holocaust Memorial Day event at Stratford Old Town Hall on Wednesday 27th January 2016. On 2nd February 2016 Year 5 went to the Saone’s Centre to extend their classroom learning about ‘Living things and their habitats’. On the trip we classified mini beasts and looked at their habitats. It was also very interesting to see how many mini beasts there are.
