YOU SAID:

Some year 5 & 6  children  joined a game called ‘ROBLOX’ online which had some features that are unsafe and inappropriate for children.

WE DID:

A meeting was held for year 5 & 6 parents in November 2017 . As part of of “Keeping Children Safe In Education”. It is our duty to make parents and pupils  aware of the dangers that  the online gaming world can have. Please visit our our safeguarding tab and click on “ROBLOX” . Our parents were very thankful for the information they received . Together we will keep your children safe.

YOU SAID:

There was an overcrowding of parents and children in the playground in the morning at school time 8.50 am, which was causing too much congestion.

WE DID:

Year 2 and 3  pupils now go straight into class without  having to line up , which stops the problem of the congestion and children not being late for class .

YOU SAID:

The Cranborne Road exit that leads into the school gates, people were parking in front of the school ,which was very  dangerous. Parents were also parking in the same exit.

WE DID:

The Premises Manager contacted the Local Authority ;Highway Access Team, logged the complaint. The Local Authority came and fitted an access gate which is locked at school times. This has now stopped the cars and vans parking down the road, when children are attending school.

YOU SAID:

Parents with cars keep parking on the double yellow lines when dropping off their children to school, which was causing another hazard.

WE DID:

The school has now purchased “little people” that are placed on the double lines outside the school, with colorful labelled signs; stating “No Parking”. They are out  first thing in the morning and 15 minutes before parents collect their children.
